Terms of Use
These Terms are the agreement between you and BeyondAllPages. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.
- Who we are. BeyondAllPages (the “Service”) is the habits app at beyondallpages.com and its subdomains, including its mental-model library and community page, plus our newsletter. Our iOS and Android apps are not available yet; when they are, these Terms will cover them too. It is operated by Anirudh Muhnot, a sole proprietor trading as BeyondAllPages, based in Udaipur, India (“we”, “us”). Contact: anirudhmuhnot@icloud.com.
- Accepting these Terms. You accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy by ticking the boxes on our sign-in screen (“I’m 18 or older” and “I agree to the Terms of Use…”) when you create an account or sign in (or when we ask again after an update), by buying a plan (the payment screen links the Plan Terms and Refund & Cancellation Policy), or by otherwise using the Service. We record which version you accepted and when. Our Community Guidelines, Plan Terms and Refund & Cancellation Policy form part of these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
- Eligibility. You must be 18 or older to use the Service. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete its data, except the records the law requires us to keep (see our Privacy Policy).
- Your account. You can sign up with Google, a one-time code or link we email you, or email and password. Keep your login details secret and tell us at once about any unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity on your account, except where it is caused by our failure to keep it secure.
- Trying the app without an account. If you use the app while signed out, your habits and notes are saved only in your browser’s local storage on that device. If you sign in, they are copied to your account. Clearing your browser deletes signed-out data, and we cannot recover it.
- Licence. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service and its content for your own non-commercial self-improvement. You may not copy, republish, resell, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service or its content.
- Acceptable use. You must not break the law, interfere with the Service’s security, create accounts automatically, upload malware, harass others, or post anything our Community Guidelines prohibit.
- Your content. Your habits, if-then plans and notes belong to you. You let us store and process them only to provide the Service to you. We do not publish private content.
- Community posts and shared stacks. Posts, comments and reactions on the community page are public and show the name you post under. If you choose “Share this stack”, the stack (its habit, mental models and if-then plans) becomes public without your name, with upvotes and a count of how many people use it. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display your posts and stacks and to let other users copy stacks within the Service. The licence for posts and comments ends when you delete them. For stacks it ends when you take the stack down or delete your account, which removes the public listing; copies other people already added to their own dashboards stay with them, without your name. We may review, refuse, edit for format, or remove any post, comment or stack, and we remove unlawful content within the time limits the law sets. Content can be hidden automatically while a serious report about it is checked. We keep content we remove, and reported content that is deleted, for 1 year, which meets what the law requires (see our Privacy Policy). Don’t include personal information in anything you post or share.
- Our content and book attribution. The app’s design, code, mental-model write-ups, habit library and stacks are ours or licensed to us. Our mental models are our own explanations of ideas discussed in the books named. Book titles and author names are used only to credit sources. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any author or publisher. All trademarks belong to their owners.
- Links to other sites. The app may link to books and other sites we don’t control. We are not responsible for their content, prices or privacy practices.
- Free and paid features. The free plan lets you track up to 3 habits. Premium removes this limit and unlocks the features listed in our Plan Terms. We may add features. We will not remove a core paid feature during a paid period without giving you notice and a pro-rata refund if you ask for one.
- Plans and payment. Our Plan Terms form part of these Terms. Website payments are processed by Razorpay, and we never see or store your full card details. We email you a receipt for every payment. Our iOS and Android apps are not available yet. When they are, purchases in them will be processed by Apple or Google under their terms, and Premium bought on the website will also unlock the apps when you sign in with the same account.
- Refunds. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy explains your rights. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
- Deleting your account and termination. You can delete your account at any time in My account → Delete my account. We then delete your data as set out in our Privacy Policy, which also lists the records the law requires us to keep. Deleting your account ends any paid plan on it, and unused time isn’t refunded; if you paid in the last 14 days, ask for your money-back refund before you delete. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms or our Community Guidelines, straight away if needed. Where reasonable, we will warn you first and explain why. If we close a paid account for reasons other than your breach, we will refund the unused portion.
- Not medical advice. The Service is for general education and self-improvement. It is not medical, psychological, nutritional or addiction-treatment advice, and it does not replace a qualified professional. Talk to a doctor before starting exercise, diet or quitting programmes, especially if you have a health condition. If you are in crisis, call Tele-MANAS 14416 or 112.
- No guaranteed results. Results depend on you. We do not promise any particular outcome.
- Service availability. We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but it may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control.
- Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is higher. This does not limit liability for our fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, breach of data-protection law, or anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
- Indemnity. You agree to compensate us for reasonable losses caused by your breach of the law or deliberate misuse of the Service, including content you share publicly.
- Governing law and disputes. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the next sentence, the courts at Udaipur, Rajasthan have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you can always file a complaint before the Consumer Commission where you live or work, or through the National Consumer Helpline (1915) or e-Daakhil, and nothing in these Terms takes away that right. Please contact our Grievance Officer first so we can try to fix the problem.
- Changes. We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give at least 15 days’ notice by email before they take effect, and when they take effect the app will show you a notice and ask you to agree to the new version. Changes do not apply to plans already paid for in a way that reduces what you bought. If you do not agree, you can stop using the Service and ask for a pro-rata refund of any unused paid period affected by the change. What changed in version 1.1: you now tick boxes to agree when you sign up; every report and complaint gets a ticket number; we email receipts and a reminder 7 days before a 1-year plan ends; we keep security logs, removed content and the sign-up record of closed accounts for 1 year, which meets what the law requires; payment records are kept for 8 years even if you delete your account; and there is a new section for visitors from the EU and UK.
- Grievance Officer. Anirudh Muhnot, Grievance Officer, anirudhmuhnot@icloud.com. You can also use our complaint form. See our Grievance Redressal page for timelines.
- General. If any clause is found invalid, the rest remains in force. These Terms, together with the policies they refer to, are the entire agreement between us about the Service. If we don’t enforce a right immediately, we have not waived it. You may not transfer your account. We may transfer these Terms to a successor that takes over the Service on the same or better terms, with notice to you.
